The Cause.

Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada is the largest and only all-Canadian wish granting charity dedicated to granting wishes to Canadian children between the ages of 3 and 17 who are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. For more than 30 years, Children’s Wish has worked tirelessly to grant heartfelt wishes to over 25,000 children and their families – that’s three wishes each and every day, all year long!

The annual Night of Wonders is the premier event of Children’s Wish, NL Chapter, bringing together 250 of Newfoundland & Labrador’s business and cultural luminaries to help grant wishes for seriously ill children. Night of Wonders encapsulates the essence of wishes – creating joy, awe, and wonder. We are confident you too, will be inspired by the profound joy and transformation a wish can bring to a child with a life-threatening illness.

2019 Wish Ambassador: Rhea

For just seven years old, Rhea sure has a wide range of interests and preferences: all the music from her favorite pop artist, Meghan Trainor - cause it really is all about the bass… - singing, UK football, dolls, swimming, Barbies, playdough, and Legos. She’s a big fan of naan bread, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, A&W, and chocolate cake. She cites local artist, Bennie Malone as her favorite entertainer for his unbelievable juggling abilities.

Rhea has a beautiful character and a zest for life. She’s not about to let Noonan’s Syndrome, her life-threatening illness, stand in the way of enjoying her life to the fullest. This young lady will totally rock her trip to Disney and Give Kids the World this March and enjoy the much deserved reprieve from treatment regimens and medical appointments!

You can help make wishes like Rhea’s come true and experience how wishes work wonders.

The Venue.

The Armoury was originally constructed in 1910 and was used for military training for the First and Second World War. On a cold night in December of 1992 the original building was completely destroyed by fire. Miraculously, two years later the members and supporters of the C.L.B. had rebuilt a new armoury on the same foundation, “Out of the Ashes.”

Food & Wine.

Enjoy a spectacular three-course meal designed and prepared by our celebrity chefs; Jeremy Charles, Todd Perrin, and Shaun Hussey.
“This was a magical trip that allowed us to forget everything and enjoy each other. We thank Children’s Wish and all that support them so deeply for this opportunity. Our family will never forget!” – Wish Dad, Corey
